RETURN AND REFUND POLICY
Haus Malts guarantees its malted grains for 30 days from purchase date. Appropriate storage and use is the customer's responsibility. Please follow the guidelines noted in the "Storing Your Malt" section.
Malts are not returnable or refundable. They may, however, be replaced at Haus Malts' discretion for another product or store credit.
Haus Malts is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. Customers are responsible for all return delivery costs and failed delivery costs. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
SHIPPING AND PICK-UP
By Mail: Unless otherwise notified, Haus Malts will process your order within 1-2 business days; please allow up to 4 additional days for mail delivery. Haus Malts utilizes a U.S. Postal Service Priority flat rate box for the lower 48 states. The flat rate for this is $13.00 per 10 lb. bag. If you live outside the Lower 48, or if you require expedited shipping, please contact us and we will do our best to accomodate you.
Local (Cleveland area) Pickup: Pick-up is available by appointment at Haus Malts on Saturdays from 10:00 am-12:00 Noon.

STORING YOUR MALT
Keeping your malt fresh is an important factor in making great beer. The three big enemies of malt are heat, light and oxygen. If you manage these three factors, you will be fine.
Here are guidelines for storing your malt if you aren’t going to use it right away. Malt should be kept in sealable, moisture-proof bags or any air-tight bug/rodent proof container. Any unused grain should be resealed. It does best when stored in a low-humidity environment with temperatures below 90° F. Due to environmental fluctuations, we do not recommend storing malt outside or in your garage, even if stored properly.
Although perishable, your malted grain should store well for at least a year under these conditions. There may be some mild flavor loss after 18 months. Cheers!
